A Franciscan Vocation is a vocation to follow Christ after the manner of St. Francis of Assisi, the founder of the Order of Friars Minor.
We are all called to be a “Herald of the Great King“; each in our own way.
The Mission of the Franciscan Alumni Association is:
Inspired by Franciscan values, we seek to serve the Risen Christ by fostering fraternity and communion among members and assisting the work of the Order of Friars Minor in the United States provinces and missions.
In keeping with that Mission, the Franciscan Alumni Association encourages vocations “to follow Christ after the manner of St. Francis of Assisi” by considering becoming a Franciscan friar.
The Friars of Our Lady of Guadalupe Province invite those who may be discerning a vocation to consider bringing your gifts, talents and life experiences and join a movement that has been rebuilding and renewing the church for more than 800 years. They look forward to answering your questions and helping you discern your call.
Information on becoming a friar can be found here, and a web-form to make contact with the friars of OLG Province can be found here.
